Jayne England Byrne is the president and owner of Labonda Publishing and Writing, LLC.

Prior to launching her company, Jayne worked in the defense  industry for over a decade.

  • As the Marketing Manager for Gichner Shelter Systems, Jayne developed and executed marketing strategies.  She made bid/no-bid decisions, was the primary point of contact for European licensees, and was responsible for technical, management, and cost proposals.
  • She began her career as a mechanical design engineer for Honeywell International. She designed  electronic packaging for shipboard and airborne communications modules.
  • Jayne has been a writer all along.  While working for Gichner and Honeywell, she wrote and edited countless proposals, brochures, statements of work, white papers, briefings, and presentations.
  • She taught Business to Business Marketing at the Johns Hopkins University and conducted seminars about government contracts at a community college.

Education

Jayne holds a Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Delaware, and a Master of Administrative Science degree from the Johns Hopkins University.
